Mass surveillance

I traveled China in 2019 for 1 month, I have been shocked by the number of surveillance cameras and security obsession. Surveillance has become an everyday part of life in more developed societies, aided by an explosion in AI–powered facial–recognition technology, And it creates a very strange feeling of self-coercion.
